I
remember growing up in an all Caucasian neighborhood, devout Catholic
walking to church daily at times to connect with a source that was bigger
than life itself. It never made sense to me to confess my sins to another
human being. Yet I somehow found comfort praying in Church, volunteering
as a youngster to sew clothing for missionaries and smiling. At the tender
age of 8, I contracted hepatitis, the kind one gets from eating
contaminated food. It usually affects the individuals who ingest the same
meal. It was an enigma to physicians as no one else in my family of seven
or the community had the illness. During this time, I missed the beginning
of the school year as my body was too fatigued. I continued to get more
and more jaundiced and the decision was made to hospitalize me as I was
not responding to out-patient medical treatments. The night before my
admission, I had an experience which would not be explained to me until
years later in nursing school as I studied "death and dying." I had a
near-death experience. Mine was typical of many. I was pulled down a
dark tunnel at great speed to reach an area filled with light. I was left
with a sense of bliss.
I woke up the next morning to get ready for my admission to the Montreal
Children Hospital, a stay that would last over a month to stabilize my
condition. During that time, I was in isolation as the cause of my illness
was unknown. My room was located near the Nurses' Station. I was keenly
aware of stories Nurses were sharing about their personal life and the
patients. There was an instance where in the middle of such sharing my
call bell was ignored. I was to maintain bed rest and get help for using
the bedpan. My call went unnoticed for quite some time and I did the
ultimate - wet my bed. A disgruntled nurse came in at some point to clean
me up and change my bed. At that moment, I realized that I was to make
a difference and would show others how to properly care for one another.
I did not realize how such a thought would be a leading force for the
rest of my life. Deepak Chopra, world renowned M.D., was to later put it
down on paper stating: "Your thoughts create your reality."
Many years later, my mother was surprised when I decided to become a nurse
as the sight of blood was an unpleasant one for me. Yet this unknown force
was supporting me in moving forward into the nursing profession. Years
later, I saw the improper treatment of premature newborns from medical
interns due to lack of training, once again I moved beyond my fears.
I researched the concept of a mid level practitioner and convinced the
President of this large teaching hospital to create a position for me as a
Nurse Practitioner in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit. I returned to
school to deepen my understanding of high risk pregnancies and the care of
critically ill newborns often the outcome of such pregnancies. In so
doing, I studied embryology along with many other courses which would
prove useful later on in my practice of energy healing at the DNA
(cellular) level.
Yet, I remained "dormant" or "unconscious" to the depth of my actions for
quite some time - well into my late thirties. My conscious living began
with what I now refer to as an attunement from Archangel Michael during a
lucid dream. Upon rising the next day, I realized that I was energy with
streams buzzing through my hands. My feet actually had become and stayed
warm for quite some time. Now I feel the pulsations of the Earth through
my feet reminding me that I belong here, a fact I doubted for many years.
I became attracted to the practice of yoga which continues to this day. As
my body gained flexibility, my mind opened up to new concepts including
Energy Medicine (healing). I began to see clients and saw miracles take
place.
Much healing has taken place in me. First, was the acceptance of being in
a female body and everything the body has the potential of experiencing.
Secondly was my acceptance of having healing abilities. When I was growing
up, the stories I heard was that the "natural healing gift" had been
passed down strictly through my family's male line. To emphasize the
point, two of my uncles on my maternal and paternal side are healers and
in medicine, my colleagues are mostly male physicians. When these very
physicians recognized my gift of intuition, I readily dismissed it because
of my limited beliefs in myself and my reality back then. It was not yet
time for me to fully embrace these gifts.
As I explored Energy Medicine, the connection to my ancestors deepened.
The old beliefs were chipped away to make room for the "new me." The
appreciation of being in a female body continues to grow. I believe that
enhancing the beauty of our body from within is crucial. From that
point on adorning the body with clothes that enhance us, whatever size or
shape we are given genetically, is part of my mission. It was also a dream
my maternal grandmother had; it partially materialized during her life
staying within the confines of her home.
Over the years, I was strongly guided in learning many DNA healing
modalities to access one's true self and heal from that place. My path
becomes clearer from day to day as the veils of illusion are removed. My
heart aligns with what resonates with me making the many choices placed
before me easier to decipher.
I have discovered that each one of us has our own unique path to follow.
Judgment and comparison are unnecessary yet are so easy to fall into as we
live on the Earth. Enjoying the journey, in my mind, is what is important,
allowing the playfulness of a child to return enjoying the Earth plane to
the fullest.
At the beginning of 2003, I envisioned launching a design company to
appropriately clothe those on a spiritual path. The company called
Goddess Design will feature clothing and accessories for both men,
women and children to reflect the beauty of a spiritual being living out
in the world. The company will, in time, include everything from head
dresses to footwear. At this time, I am launching the website
GoddessDesign.com to let others know of the assistance I am
offering to begin or continue the healing from within.
As my global vision finds its way into manifestation, I continue to offer
clients from children to the elderly healing sessions for alignment to
their soul and over soul path.
My focus is to empower both males and females in their healing process
thereby "Finding Heaven on Earth" in their daily life. I assist
individuals in discovering their Life's Passion in every aspect of their
being and oftentimes see myself as a Spiritual Midwife in assisting
individual in "birthing the NEW YOU."
I am also working at the humanitarian level to assist in the Ascension
process. I maintain a private practice in Bloomfield, CT. I am
available for sessions both in person and over the phone for certain sessions.
I travel to sacred, ancient sites to tap
into the Earth's wisdom and bring it back for us to utilize NOW !!!
Use your imagination to manifest that which you desire!
I will assist you in opening and expanding who you are. Imagination is our most valuable asset. Dare to imagine!!!
